The ASUS Eee PC 1015PX-SU17-RD 10.1-Inch Netbook is available in blue, white or red for the ones who would like a departure from the many black netbooks available on the market although this one comes in black as well. At nearly three pounds, it is not as light as some of the ultra-thin designs that are now also available, but it is still constructed with mobility and portability in mind, meaning it can withstand the potential wear and tear that comes from transporting the device frequently. In fact, it has a matte design that is scratch resistant, so it can be easily transported in backpacks and carrying cases.

This ASUS netbook features an Intel Atom N570 central processing unit and runs on a Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. It comes with 2 GB DDR3 and 320GB HDD but contains no optical drive. The 10.1-inch screen uses a WSVGA display and also includes a 0.3 megapixel webcam. There are also three USB ports as well as wireless and Bluetooth capabilities. The netbook also runs on a 56 watt per hour lithium polymer battery that is supposed to last up to 11 hours. It also includes hi-definition stereo speakers and a microphone.
